It’s not often that you get an email in your INBOX offering you a very exciting opportunity to be awarded extra funds as a non-profit.
But that is what happened about mid-summer from The Myers Home Team associated with Keller Williams Realty.
Here is how cool this has been: There is a home for sale in Tampa (specifically the Town n Country area of Tampa) that is listed by this realty company. Each year for four years now they are taking the commission from the sale of a home and donating it to a local non-profit. The way they decide who wins is the non-profit that earns the most number of votes between August 1 and August 21 gets the money. Here is the link to vote:

We have encouraged our supporters to go to the open house that was held yesterday (and that earned us 10 extra votes per person who showed up!).
We will encourage our supporters to go to a Mix and Mingle event that will take place August 20th at BJ’s Restaurant in Countryside Mall from 5 pm – 7 pm (again that will earn us 10 extra votes per person who shows up and tells the Myers Home Team they are there to support NOPE of Hillsborough).
I went yesterday to see the home, and it is so cool. Newly remodeled and has a great lake with a pool & a dock.
