We are living in unprecedented times. The COVID health crisis has changed the way in which we live each day. For those struggling with the disease of addiction, the feelings of isolation and depression can be overwhelming. It’s time for all of us to reach out to those we know that struggle and let them know that they are NOT alone.

Pick up the phone and call that person who is in recovery. Relapse, as we all know, is a common thing for those trying to stay free from the demons of addiction.

Write a letter of hope to someone that you know is feeling anxious about what hand they have been dealt with the COVID health crisis adding to their already existing disease of addiction.

Remind your friend, your loved one that there is still HOPE. Hope for better days ahead. Hope for virtual support group meetings. Hope for staying connected with those that believe they can do this.

Then, ask them to watch this inspiring video from Eric Burgiss of The 108 Challenge.
